Why Did I Go Back To College? (story)

Why Did I Go Back To College?

Going back to college was a difficult choice for me to make. Although, I decided to go back to college anyway. I decided that I needed to learn how to think. The way I was thinking about life was messed up. Next, I needed to take care of some money problems. I owed the government a large amount of money and I was tired of making a couple hundred bucks. I also needed access to more job opportunities. I needed access to jobs that paid 2000-4000 a month. I was trying different things but it wasn’t getting me to the point where I could pay my own rent.
I decided go back to college to mainly to learn how to think. I did not know anything before I went to college. I think the only thing I knew was filling out job applications. Most of the people I grew up with did not know anything other then a job application. Now, there was a time when a job application was the only thing you needed to know. But, that was a long time ago. The economy was a lot better in those times. Now, the only minimum wage job you can get is a part time job after filling out hundreds of job applications. So, I needed to learn other ways to make money and I figured that college was the way to do it. I was right in that theory. College opened a whole new door to me. I met people in college that was full of useful information. In high school, I only met people that knew about things they saw on television. High School kids did not have any useful information. I found some useful information while I was in college. I needed some useful information because that is what you need to be successful. The right information can change everything in your life. The wrong information has the opposite affect. That is what I learned in college.
I also learned in college that people can not tell you what you can and can not do with your life. I learned that concept from taking a philosophy class in college. Professor Newman taught me that what you see on television is not the only world that exist. I do not know what I would be doing if I did not take the class. The only thing I knew before I went to college was job applications. That was the only thing that I knew and I felt ashamed of that. Ashamed that I never asked the right questions because I was afraid to ask the right questions. I was afraid to ask questions that I really wanted know. College taught me that the questions you ask will bring you to the right place. Television, did not show me what questions to ask or who to trust with information. College taught me what questions to ask and who to ask for information. Going to college is a choice worth taking.
Money was another reason I decided to go back to college. I was very broke and I was tired of being broke. I was tired of pretending like I had my life in order. That’s what most people do. Most people pretend they have a perfect life. They pretend that their life is together when it’s not. Unfortunately, it catches up with them in the end. I needed money and I decided that college was a way that I was going to make more money. Now, I could of went to the military but right now America is at war. War is not going to keep me alive so I decided to go to college. College provided some funds that I needed for school and other expenses. I owed the government a lot of money because I didn’t finish college. So, I had to go back and finish college. I also needed a cell phone really bad. You have to pay the money that the college gives you but you will always owe people money. It’s the way of United States.
College can give you more job opportunities. While I was looking for a job online, I notice that the degree jobs payed more money then the minimum wage jobs. Some companies do not care about what type of Bachelor Degree that you have. Corporations just want a person with a Bachelor Degree. These corporations will pay you a descent amount of money for doing office jobs. College gave me the chance to reach a higher level then minimum wage. A couple hundred bucks was not getting me any where. I needed another way to make money. The bills was getting higher and I was getting older. I just needed to find another way to make money. I was getting very desperate. I wanted to be successful so bad that I was willing to ask the government for help. No body else would help me and I didn’t have much of a choice. So, I decided that I was going to go back to college and turn my life around.
Going to college was the best thing that I ever did in my life. When you have nothing and nobody wants to show you anything. You have to make a choice in your life. A choice that is going to change your life around. I made that choice by going back to college for a Bachelor’s Degree. Now, I don’t know your story and I don’t know who you are. But, if you need help and you can’t get the help from your family. Then, you need to ask the government for help. The government showed me that there are other ways to think and make money. I learned information that I can use for my life. Going to college has turned me into the person that I always wanted to be but I did not know how to be. Going to college was not a waste of my time. I suggest anybody to go to college.
